Join us in our mission to create lasting change through hunger relief, education, and infrastructure.
The Clara Awosika Legacy Foundation (CALF) was established in 2016 to honor the impactful legacy of Princess Clara Awosika, a visionary leader who overcame challenges to become a beacon of empowerment and change.
Through CALF, we continue her mission by addressing critical issues such as hunger, lack of education, and inadequate infrastructure in underserved communities.
Providing food and resources to those in need through our monthly food bank, annual food drives, and agricultural training programs
Empowering the next generation through scholarships for underserved youths, adult literacy and financial training programs, and educational outreach and curriculum enhancement
Building and maintaining libraries, computer labs, and resource centers and providing access to free internet and technology
Since our inception, CALF has made significant strides in supporting communities through the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers.
We distributed fresh farm produce to over 150 residents of Akinjagunla in Ondo State, Nigeria, ensuring essential nutrition for the residents.
We awarded a full scholarship to Ondo native Dennis Omojola to enable him complete his secondary education and pave the way as a future leader in his community. We also collaborated with the Spell Africa Adult Education Project by donating clothing to adult learners. This project was a community outreach effort to support their journey towards self-empowerment and sustainable living.
Provided resource access through community-driven digital and physical initiatives
Since 2016, CALF has sponsored numerous students in need, ensuring they have the resources to thrive academically. In the 2016/2017 academic year, students like Moemeka Elizabeth Joshua and Ademoye Temitope Princess received tuition support to continue their education. Most recently, we awarded a full scholarship to Ondo native Dennis Omojola to enable him complete his secondary education and pave the way as a future leader in his community. Our December Food Drives have consistently provided essential nutrition to families in need, ensuring physical and emotional growth through sustainable food access. In 2024, we distributed fresh farm produce to over 150 residents of Akinjagunla in Ondo State, Nigeria, ensuring essential nutrition for the residents.
